By accessing or using Slide2Text (the "Service"), operated by Supertube (the "Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Slide2Text is a web-based application that extracts text content and speaker notes from Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) files. The Service provides:

3.2 Paid Access: Access to slides beyond the first five requires payment calculated as follows:

3.4 Currency: All prices are in United States Dollars (USD).

3.6 UK/EU Right of Withdrawal: For customers in the UK or European Union, you have the right to cancel within 14 days. However, by requesting and receiving immediate access to the extracted content, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon delivery.
4.1 Lawful Use: You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
4.2 File Ownership: You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to upload and process any PowerPoint files you submit to the Service.

5.1 Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the extraction service.
5.2 Our Service: The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, and source code, is owned by Supertube and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.1 Temporary Storage: Your uploaded files and extracted text are stored temporarily to facilitate the Service. Session data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure (Vercel KV/Redis).
6.2 Automatic Deletion: All session data, including uploaded files and extracted content, is automatically deleted within one (1) hour of upload. Original PowerPoint files are deleted immediately after processing.
6.3 No Permanent Storage: We do not permanently store your files or their contents. Once your session expires, all associated data is permanently deleted.
7.1 Availability: Whilst we strive to maintain consistent availability, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
7.2 Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.
7.3 Updates to Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8.1 "As Is" Service: The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8.2 Accuracy: Whilst we strive for accurate text extraction, we do not guarantee that the extracted content will be 100% accurate or preserve all formatting from the original presentation.
8.3 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Supertube shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
8.4 Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the six (6) months prior to the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Supertube and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you upload to the Service.
10.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10.2 Disputes: Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
